Dubbed “Dazed Day,” this limited-time theatrical engagement will kick off on Sunday, September 29, 2024, showcasing a brand-new 4K film restoration in select theaters across the US and Canada.
Dazed Day will be preceded by a special screening event hosted in partnership with The Austin Film Society at the historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX, on September 28, 2024. The evening will include a film screening, a red carpet, and a Q&A with Linklater and several members of the film’s original cast.
Richard Linklater’s 1993 coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused takes audiences back to 1976 Austin, Texas, capturing the chaotic joy of high school’s final day.
