Young King Benjamin is captivated by a portrait of the proud and often rude Princess Carolina. When the Princess refuses to meet with him, he disguises himself as a gardener to access her kingdom. He discovers her hidden kindness and falls in love, but when Carolina’s counselors arrange a marriage to a weak prince, the two escape and set out on a journey that will challenge their bond.
